Mark 100% got purposely rerouted because hes not part of hollywood and it highkey pisses me off
It really feels like they just didn't want mark on that carpet man...
Waiting a whole week for a Episode felt like an Eternity tbh.
okay but no seriously, this red carpet diverting really sounds like a subtle sabotage thing. mark's being too polite to throw accusations but there's no part of that that is "taking good care of them". there was nothing gained by being redirected into an unpopulated backroom. no special treatment. it was literally only keeping him away from anything that gave him the validity of standing next to all the rest of the normal stars. they didn't want to implicitly validate him by letting him walk side by side so they tricked our innocent good-hearted mark into giving up his moment in the spotlight. I'm not normally one to jump to conclusions, and I also often give benefit of the doubt, but their cover story of "we were told to take good care of you" falls apart when there was ~literally~ nothing to be gained, no "taking good care of them", from the alternate path they were guided through. this was PURELY to undercut letting him walk as an equal. that's just so scummy.
I watched the Oscars and was like "where is Mark? I don't see him in the audience." Now hearing the story, it sounds like they were shoveling Mark away from cameras and behind cover out of view.
"Take really good care of you" sounds like they were told to not let you walk the carpet 😂😂😂
P O T O P E P O
Oh, so when Mark said "it's all a big red carpet," he meant "EVERY carpet in the building is red."
THAT IS A MAN WHO OWNED 5 OVENS, IF HE SELLS ME A STOVE IM BUYING THE DAMN STOVE
the audacity to invite him and then steer him away from the actual carpet
