"We can be really flawed and still be deserving of achieving great things." Such a beautiful statement. She has a great spirit.
As a Nepali person I wish ppl who summit the highest mountain would also be curious about how or why is Everest called that? Say her name! Sagarmatha! This is one gift you could give Nepal in return.
I love this conversation. I was an addict years ago and I found myself in county jail for failing a probation drug test. When I was admitted to the jail “infirmary” upon in processing because of my addictions, I found myself in a room with about twenty beds that I had to stay in for a week. There was no entertainment there, but, 6 books for the nearly twenty men. One of these books (and I can’t remember the name of it) was about summoning Everest, I remember the descriptions of dead bodies, everything. Getting past my addiction was my Mount Everest.
I love the Daily Show tbh.
thanks for interviewing this wonderful woman Kosta ! Thank You Melissa for caring enough to support your love. long live the SHERPAS ! ! !
Wow, what an amazing woman, so honest & humble, that it makes her incredible achievements so much more profound. Respect 🙏
Oh my goodness, what an _excellent_ interview. It really shines a light.
First time I've seen Kosta do an interview, and I'm impressed.
We loved this person! We're reading that book! THANKS KOSTA!
Thank you for being an inspiration to people with difficult childhoods. I learned so much from just this short conversation ❤
