good video. asking your manager "what motivated you to make this request?" might save some agony when trying to bring structure to the problem statement though.
Clearly the answer to reducing the number of people contacting you is to hide the "Contact us" button as deep within the website as possible and then also make them jump through the hoops before they actually get connected to someone 😅. Sometimes following the metrics can lead to perverse incentives for the team.

Super helpful: How to think in a thinking vacuum. Excellent video.
I am so glad you are returning to this type of content. Thank you for listening to your community!
This is actually a very good heuristic. It is especially helpful for people who may have transitioned into technical roles, but do not understand the absurd landscape of these roles and the ever too frequent lack of structure.
Dear Steve, I like how you structure your thinking. It feels as if you have a collection of mindsets. Each mindset is a tool and you test to see which tool fits the problem best. It reminds me of Richard Rumelt in "bad strategy / good strategy". That's pretty cool 🙂.
Recursive inversion, love it!
Great content. Really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be using this.
I feel the pain of learning something new. That’s not a first time. I’ve started to skip videos, because they “hurt”
