Tbh, showing your own views in modern society is harder and harder because of how people react.

This is not a accident. It was done on purpose.

The biggest problem with the internet is that with so many resources available, we end up "knowing" a lot, but actually understanding very little of it.

As a zillenial (99), I will never give my children an iPad, or any kind of internet access until they are much older. Kids don’t need to be exposed to so much so fast. Nor do they need to feel like they have to have technology to have fun. I know so many people will say “wait until you have kids and they won’t stop crying!”, but I was raised without an iPad or iPhone (didn’t get my first smart phone until I was 16) and my parents still managed. Centuries of parents managed to keep their kids quiet without technology.

The best thing about social media, it gave voice to common people. The worst thing about social media, it gave voice to common people.

Most people can't even speak their minds now, because they fear a negative response. It really is just sad.

Idiocracy is becoming less of a movie and more of a glimpse into the future.

I am literally the only person at work that doesn't bring my phone to work and scroll through it every chance there is, and it shows because I can read and think critically and they can't. I give myself 1 hour to check YouTube before starting my day, and it's usually your new vids or a couple other channels that remind me why I stay off the Internet for long periods of time. Not including video games, but that's still better than doom scrolling.
