Mon Mothma throwing her husband under the bus for the missing credits has to be the best subtle moment from her. She accuses him of gambling and racking up debts in front of her driver, who she knows is ISB, and then ISB thinks its him who spent those credits, then she arranges the marriage deal with the gangster and since her husband is the more conservative of the two, it looks like he is the one arranging it to cover up his debts. Very smart play, as soon as I saw her accusing him, I had a feeling that was how things would play out.
Marva's brick being used to cave in the head of an imperial, you know she's smiling wide in the Force.
What I loved about this finale is that it wasn’t spectacle, it wasn’t over the top, it didn’t close all questions and tie up all threads. It didn’t kill off major characters because “it’s the end of a season.” It purposefully gave us just enough, and told us where to be and what to see for Season 2. These kinds of finale’s are RARE these days. It told the story it needed to, to get ready for Season 2, without sacrificing anything or forcing anything for the sake of a finale. This was a true finale, and I love that Andor stayed true to itself the entire season!
Spoilers: The fact that they made Cassian help build the thing he would later destroy was *chef's kiss*
I like how this show doesn't rely on the cameos. Instead it builds new characters and gives them respect that they deserve. Feels like Game of Thrones where all the characters had their own journey.
Love how they telegraphed the Rebellion coming through the tunnels under the hotel, just like Maarva wanted.
“He knows everything he needs to know, and feels everything he needs to feel. And when the day comes that those two pull together, he will be an unstoppable force for good. Tell him…I love him more than anything he could ever do wrong.” Damn. DAMN.
I feel like no one says it but the sons acting is so good. he barely says anything but the pain, grief, and anger bubble to the surface and you see the face of a boy who had lost everything. so awesome. and I hope to see him more in season 2
The hologram the kid who threw the grenade looked at in the beginning was his father, the guy that got tortured before bix and then hung in the square:)
