X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | James McAvoy | Michael Fassbender

I know some people don't like this X-Men movie but it holds a special place in my heart because my friend's daughter plays Magneto's daughter in this movie. She also plays young Vanya in the Umbrella Academy.

I love how Apocalypse is having a mind battle with Charles AND fending off everyone in reality too...like that's still impressive as hell

It actually makes a lot of sense that Quicksilver uses goggles. He needs his eyes open and that much wind resistance could do some damage. Pretty cool idea

Days of future Past changed everything; all the mutants you remember from the original movies have changed because their timeline has changed. And btw In the comics, Storm was born with her white hair. She's descended from a long line of African priestesses/sorceresses, all of whom had blue eyes and white hair. So in addition to her powerful mutant abilities, she has an enormous potential to be a powerful sorceress if she were inclined to study magic. 29:07 Funny because in the comics Mystique is the mother of Nightcrawler (but later change in the comics they change it) The wolverine scene was actually necessary because it gives context and legitimacy to the new timeline. In days of future past the timeline was reset, in the ending stryker captured Logan to make the weapon x, in the past timeline Logan freed himself after the weapon x experiment succeeded, and that is the one that appeared in xmen origins. In this timeline it was the x men who freed Logan, and that is how this new timeline is legitimized. Jean Grey is generally considered more powerful than Professor X, especially as the host of the Phoenix Force. While Xavier is a master telepath, Jean is an Omega-level mutant possessing both vast telepathic abilities and unrivaled telekinetic power. At her peak (White Phoenix of the Crown (X-Men Comics #154), her abilities are cosmic-level. In the after the credits scene, the name Essex Corp on the brief case refers to Nathaniel Essex. AKA Mr. Sinister. A big time X-Men villain. They teased him but never built a story for him. I'm not sure why. Keep up the good work.

I always found it annoying that none of the X-men films respected Angel more than just a few scenes and immediately turning him into one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, since he was one of the original members of the X-men.

If Scott had the power from the comics when he first opened his eyes at the school there would have been a LOT more damage, lol.
