I think the 1M context window was just so they could join the club. Problem is they only retain around 36% at that size compared to competitors who retain 55%-85% depending on who compare against.
The opening intro was really cool. And a note on the Meta Glasses. I don't know what people were expecting. We already talk about phones listening and looking in, so the fact we are putting glasses on leads to all sorts of privacy and security concerns.
