Why Is Everyone Leaving New Zealand?

You can’t afford to live in the country you were born in but people who weren’t born there are given a free ride. Makes ya think.

If you work hard enough in N.Z your boss can take a 2nd holiday.

My family is from bulgaria. We moved to the UK 14 years ago for better life opportunities. Now half of them including me are seriously considering moving back.

I went to New Zealand 10 years ago and I thought it was ridiculously expensive, I can only imagine what the economy is like now post COVID.

The sad thing is it doesn't matter where you go. Everyone is struggling, everywhere!

I knew of a company once through a cousin where the owner did absolutely nothing and treated everyone quite poorly. He would regularly go on holiday while the revenue generators had to toil away even afraid to take a sick day. So one day when the owner/manager took his 3rd holiday of the year, all of the workers left the company and told no one. He came back to an empty store and shortly after had to close down. He actually tried to sue and press criminal charges on the employees but of course it didn't work. Last I heard he's an alcoholic and had to sell his main mansion as well as his vacation home. I guess when you treat people like trash don't be surprised when they take it out.
