this is where I realize I'm dead broke because 30$ more each month would significaltly change my way of living, then I complain I can't play games ffs I can barely live
Satisfactory's dev team is a great example for correct communication. They uploaded a video talking about what they're NOT adding to the game. They have a vision for their game and they know what they're not going to do. That's respectable.
30$ is cheap for a game nowadays. But if you make me buy a game for 60$ it better be worth every cent, and the companies that charge that price tend not to put out quality to match the cost.
17:21 The reason gaming companies don't like and are fighting emulation is for the same reason phone companies brick old versions of their phones over time, because it forces you to buy their newer game instead of buying a less expensive game or even playing a free game were they don't make any money
Just need to point out to Mark that the profit from selling a cartridge back then was A LOT less for the Dev than in today's situation. Inflation and prices did and should've gone down as long as you take profit (not price) into account.
CAN WE TALK ABOUT WADES STAFF INFECTION JOKE
Bob is 100% right. I have never played a half life game and likely never will. If half life 3 were announced, I would absolutely love it just because of the memes that would come from it.
Btw the ridiculous reason why they shut down the storage or roms was because they might be used for recreational purposes, which apparently the storage of films and music are not used for. I also only watch the game awards for the announcements because why would I care if other people like the games I like?
Bob, the equivalent of Film Festivals in the game design community are Game Jams. If we had more people get into Game Jams and maybe start offering small cash prizes for Game Jam winners, we could get more buzz circulating around the indie game sphere.
In reference to the paywall news You can also soam ctrl+p to print the page and it should bring it all up.
