Description

“Our system isn’t set up to actually get fresh food to the masses. It’s set up to get processed food to the masses.” Eight-time James Beard Award-winning chef, restaurateur, and head judge on “Top Chef,” Tom Colicchio, sits down with Ronny Chieng to discuss his latest cookbook and memoir “Why I Cook.” They talk about the changing culture in restaurant kitchens, why Americans lack access to healthy food, cooking at home and reducing food waste, and the movement to improve school lunch quality and accessibility. #DailyShow #TomColicchio #Nutrition #America Subscribe to The Daily Show: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwWhs_6x42TyRM4Wstoq8HA/?sub_confirmation=1 Follow The Daily Show: Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheDailyShow Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedailyshow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedailyshow Stream full episodes of The Daily Show on Paramount+: http://www.paramountplus.com/thedailyshow Follow Comedy Central: Twitter: https://twitter.com/ComedyCentral Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ComedyCentral Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/comedycentral About The Daily Show: Jon Stewart and The Best F**king News Team host The Daily Show, an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program analyzing the biggest stories in news, politics, and culture through a sharp, satirical lens. My local farmers market matches snap benefits up to $25 a day for fruits and vegetables and they are open twice a week during the growing season. That’s $150 a month in free fruits a vegetables.

I like what Valter Longo is doing with his non profit clinics, helping children and families, sick and elderly people with the Longevity Diet. He’s a very humane person.

Give everyone a four day work week and for the other two days let's work to grow stuff on community land and on the last day of the week let's enjoy all the great food we made together.
