Instead of using that tool, Trump installed an unconfirmed loyalist with a record of election denial, let her wreck the place without lawful authority, and now calls the 82‑year‑old Reagan judge an “activist” for pointing out that the Constitution still applies. While he talks tough about Iran, he quietly shut down one of the main instruments we have for persuasion instead of war. This is the pattern: Put an unqualified loyalist in charge. Ignore the Constitution and the guardrails. Let them break the institution. When it blows up, scream “deep state” and move on.
