I agree that understanding data structure and context is the biggest challenge to using AI effectively for data analysis. Right now, I find myself shying away from using AI because I have to spend so much time explaining context and business rules/logic to get a useful output. I'd love to see a follow-up video showing how to get started building a semantic layer on top of existing tables.
Currently using semantic layers in Snowflake Cortex. Enjoying it so far
Hey Alex plz make series Snowflake with Cortex Ai
I have worked with semantic models for a while already and what you said about politics is extremely true. Additionally, quite some colleagues don't really see any value in this direction and it doesn't feel good, although I find this work genuinely exciting and meaningful
So the layers are Date -> Semantic model (data model) -> Semantic Layer -> Ontology layer ?
Great video, going through this right now
I found the holy grail of behavioural layers, turning stochastic into determinism. Currently testing it in a project. Thinking how to divulge it and maybe writing something more academic
Sounds fun, like Data Dictionary for AI.
Can you make video on how to make semantic layer?
Is Semantic Layer and Ontology Layer the same or different?
