I'm a SAHM, and every Monday, I wash and fold mine and my husband's laundry. He thanks me every single week. By their logic, I'm just doing my job, and I shouldn't be thanked. I'm so done with these people.

Why doesn’t “the bare minimum” deserve a thank you? We say thank you when someone hands us our groceries, cuts our hair, mows our lawn, etc. That’s gratitude to someone who’s getting paid for what they’re doing. Why wouldn’t I say thank you to the man who has pledged his life to me and shoulders the majority of the responsibility in caring for our family?

It doesn't matter if its "somebody's job", you can still show manners and gratitude for it.

I lost my husband of 23 years 12 years ago. I appreciated everything he did. I just wish he was still here for me to appreciate.

"No marriage has ever suffered because of excess gratitude." That is a great quote and a great thought to always remember.

My husband earns 100% of the income, I do 98-99% of the child care. I thank him every time he watches the baby so I can take a shower, run an errand, or go to the gym (and thanks him every day for being a good provider and dad). He thanks me everyday for being a good mom and wife ❤

My husband never changed a diaper or cooked a dinner, but he worked 60 hours a week, was very loving and gave us a wonderful lifestyle. I even did repair work in our home and much lawn care. I was good at those things and enjoyed it!

Nice to see Matt Walsh is noticing the war on manhood and masculinity as a whole.

My favorite is when they say it isn't worthy of praise to care for your child, then say their spouse isn't grateful and doesn't appreciate them.
