The violence in that battle scene was glorious
Zeus had to be soooo powerful, he split the motherboxes by himself witth lightning while it took superman, cyborg and flash to split them
The Age Of Heroes battle is in my opinion one of the best ancient times set battle sequences on film since the opening battle of The Fellowship Of The Ring.

The history lesson Diana gives to Bruce about the origins of the mother box and the formation of the unity was so crucial to the overall plotline. I can't believe they removed all that subplot in the 2017 film. WB are bunch of idiots. The new scenes between Silas Stone and Ryan Choi was perfect because he is eventually going to become the Atom. It was a perfect way of passing the torch and Snyder mentioned about Ryan Zheng who portrayed Ryan Choi was going to have his own spin-off Atom film which would take place in China. He really had so much planned ahead of time for the primary, secondary characters.
The Old Gods did their duty: Artemis shot Darkseid as he was reaching for the Lantern ring, Ares drew effing blood and took him out, and Zeus separated the Mother Boxes. That was some good shit.

The flashback battle reminds me of Sucker Punch fight scenes
It took both Cyborg and Flash to seperate 3 motherboxes but just a Zeus' lightning strike. The old Gods are so powerful.
That battle with Darkseid had me speechless the first time I saw it!
