The monologue near the end with his father is so authentic. It is relatable to anyone, of any age or gender. It’s my favorite scene.
He went through all the stages of grief in front of that Fireplace. His face captured it well. HE DID PHENOMENAL. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🥹🥹🥹🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿💜💜💜 I LOVED THIS MOVIE!
Timothee's performance in this is an all time great. I remember leaving the theatre feeling like I had changed.
Timothee said that he didnt read Michael's lines in the scene where he talks to him and cries, because he wanted Elio's reaction to be genuine. So thats really Timothée's reaction.
Dad's speech should have gotten him an Oscar nomination.
I never understood Timothee not winning that Oscar
Tim acted his behind off in this movie. I was really surprised by it.
I was 19 when i came out to my mom as bisexual 😢 i still can remember the look of disgust in her face when she look at me Elio was really lucky to have such a good father
I could listen to michael talk all day, he is so intellectual and receptive!
Visions of Gideon was my song of comfort song of 2023.
