When Ahmed pauses a lot while pursing his lips together during a review, you know there's a lot of concerns!
Although I am not too interested in Kia or a hybrid van, as a car enthusiast, these reviews are excellent and very interesting and informative. Props to Ahmed!
We looked at the sienna and this. I’m a huge Toyota fan. After driving the Kia, we purchased it. So far it is honestly fantastic. Quiet, great fuel economy, comfortable etc. hope it lasts!
Hope you can do review on the v6 model 👍
We bought one of these in January, almost exactly 10 months ago today. We opted for the SX Prestige (top o' the line), 7-passenger version with the two captains' chairs in the middle row. It is an absolutely WONDERFUL car, weirdly powerful, smooth, quiet, luxurious, extremely good-looking, good-handling and so well-equipped that we haven't discovered all of its features even yet. It is a genuine pleasure to drive (and I'm an old BMW guy from WAY back). The one we test drove was the color of the one in this video, a color they call "Ceramic Silver," but I call "Battleship Gray." I don't like it much (although it seems to be all the rage these days) but we liked the car so much that we were going to buy it anyway. But it took us about a week to get all our ducks in a row with our financing and in the interim the dealership received one in a color they call "Ivory Silver," which is simply GORGEOUS, sort of a metallic very light gold, and that's the one we drove home. Plusses: How it drives (smooth, powerful, quiet, stable), unusually high vantage point (you look down into Siennas and Odysseys), how it looks, how it feels, interior space, headroom and luxury, gas mileage (31 to 33 depending on how we've driven it). High build quality and extreme high technology (for instance, the rear-view mirror is a little color TV showing the view from a high-res camera mounted at the top of the tailgate, and you get a very clear, unobstructed side-view camera shot replacing either the speedo or the tach when you turn on the turn signal, eliminating any shred of a blind spot). 360-degree view from above when parking. Great Bose stereo with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Really nice heads-up display (I don't know how I ever lived without it), the parking brake actually holds the car fast, and its driver assist features basically let the car drive itself on well-marked roads (even in traffic jams). USB charging ports all over the place. And, an 8,000-mile scheduled maintenance interval. And it has a truly comprehensive smartphone app that even notifies you by text if you forget to lock the doors, and lets you lock 'em from the app. Minuses (mostly just nits): You have to put your hands on the steering wheel at at least 15-second intervals or it scolds you. NO SPARE TIRE (but they'll sell you an expensive dealer-installed kit). Less front seat storage space (cupholders, cubbies and whatnot) even than in many sedans. I would have opted for the 8-passenger if I weren't mesmerized by the "coolness" of the captains' chairs. I'd like more travel in all directions for the tilt-telescope steering wheel. I would recommend this car to anybody, family or no.
I’m waiting for the 2026 Telluride Hybrid but I’m not buying it until you review it 😂
I own one. To keep it simple, it's smooth, great on the interior and exterior. Best on flexibility. Love the fuel efficiency. The cabin is calmer. Visibility is nice. If you are looking for a minivan, I would strongly suggest taking a test drive and deciding for yourself.
Just bought the 2026 Kia Carnival SX Prestige Hybrid.. Your review was helpful.. I did solid homework between the Sienna and Carnival and I made my choice.. I am glad I made the right choice with this helpful video...
I really wished he reviewed the V6 version too.
They need to get their shit together and finally make one all wheel drive. Give Toyota Sienna a run for their money other than that they're doing pretty good
