This case is so tragic. I interacted with Christe a few times in pharmacy school and she was the sweetest person! Me and my friend volunteered at our first ever service/volunteer event as a student. We met Christe there. She was in her third year of pharmacy school and we were clearly in our first. I just remember how nervous we were because we felt like we had no clue what we were doing. We probably looked scared and totally lost. I think Christe sensed that and immediately introduced herself, offering us so much advice - most of which I took with me throughout pharmacy school. She made us feel more comfortable and reassured us that we were going to be okay. She was pretty involved in leadership within her class and from what I heard, incredibly smart. It truly pains me that she is not able to continue to share her compassion and intelligence with others and her patients. I never comment on things, but in case her family sees this, they should know how much Christe made a small yet meaningful impact on me and probably many others. Her warmth and guidance stayed with me, and her memory will always live on. She did not deserve this. Praying for peace and comfort for her family and loved ones!!

I flipped out when I saw this case! My son went to school with Christe and took her to a banquet when they were in the 8th grade. I took him to her house to pick her up and met her mom. They were very nice people and I didn't even know this had happened! RIP Christe!
