Overcoming Inventory Constraints and Investigating the Steelworks Anomaly
Master core mechanics, including upgrade prioritization and combat nuances, while navigating severe inventory shortages in a challenging new survival experience.
Short Summary
- Immediately prioritize inventory upgrades over weapon damage for early progression.
- Charge shots and proper enemy finishing moves (stomp) determine combat and resource survival.
- Major narrative zones require extensive backtracking once key items (like the Torch) are acquired.
- The investigation shifted from Sector D31 to the past timeline centered around the Steelworks and a figure named Edward.
This session captures crucial early discoveries in a demanding survival horror game. The streamer struggles intensely with limited inventory space, which frequently halts resource acquisition and essential crafting. Key takeaways focus on strategic upgrade choices, necessary combat tactics (like using charge shots and stomping), and unlocking the main narrative thread leading to the dangerous Steelworks location.

The only man on the face of the planet that's taking care of his backlog 1 game at a time, along with new releases.

Been loving this. Moody, oppressive survival horror is my jam.
You gotta ask the warden about the cats, that dialog is definitely written by someone who owns multiple cats
The enemies he keeps running past drop plenty of ammo and resources then hes complaining about lack of ammo 😂
I love how charlie puts his face cam in the middle side so I can zoom in
This game is where bitrate goes to die
Been playing the past couple days after work and I'm absolutely LOVING it, story is excellent, always keeping me intrigued and questioning, the visuals and aesthetic are top tier, super immersive, only complaint is combat is kinda wonky at times, but easily overlooked, but easily a 9/10 game!!
This is the kind of game I wish Charlie had 4k videos for
2:40:55 I never really used the Integrity Scanner to view an enemy’s health, I took it as a way to see which enemies that were sitting/laying around were capable of getting up and attacking you. So instead of waiting for all the enemies around you to wake up and attack I just killed them before they could agro
