I have spent more time watching youtubers bashing hollywood than watching the actual movies/series in the last couple years... They are so much more entertaining than the actual stuff.
The sad thing is, fans of these franchises are no longer angry. The only thing they feel now is apathy.
On a positive note: every time I hear Henry Cavill talk about passionate audience, it warms my heart, no matter how many times I heard it before.
John Boyega exaggerating the African accent to make a point even though he's used to talk to press in a British accent is quite funny
Remakes are just another form of altering history. "The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history." Orwell
Everyone complaining about Streep playing Aslan the Lion clearly didn't see the writing on the wall with "Greta Gerwig directed Netflix adaptation". They're not just going to disrespect the lore of Narnia with this, they're going to disrespect an entire religion 💀
A thousand paper cuts from unsold tickets.
"If you would've told me 40 years ago that I would absolutely despise new versions of Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. I would've said you're insane." Truer words have never been spoken.
'antagonistic' sums it up perfectly. If someone makes it clear to you that they disapprove of your existence, you're hardly going to listen to them.
Hollywood is beginning to sound like that toxic EX you regret dating, broke up with you, post pictures and stories with his/her new partner in social media but still has the audacity to demand money from you.
