Anton IS the Cosmological Constant.
Sounds like a tense time for the universe.
"The closer we LOOK the faster it seems to be expanding"
Anton is looking buff and pumped...
We assume that the universe is expanding at the same rate in the same direction and everywhere.
I think this Hubble value should be renamed with new name instead of constant. It seems that it is not constant in time and / or not homogenous in the entire universe. The other aspect, it seems that Penrose was maybe right with the cyclic universe.
"The harder we look, the faster it moves away from us" says a species that sent out a disc with unsolicited nudes and their home address on it.
So many studies try to test if a specific hypothetical is the singular explanation for the divergence of values for the Hubble tension--a simple silver bullet solution. After so many "simple" solutions have been eliminated, I'm starting to wonder if there is an interplay of multiple factors. It would require a massive meta analysis of the proposed factors to figure out which ones , and to what degree, could create a cohesive model to explain it. That would be a huge undertaking, to say the least. Any combinations with mutually exclusive factors would be eliminated from consideration, simplifying things somewhat.
