This is so malicious and vindictive. There is absolutely 0 evidence he was hit by any vehicle. They should be suing their cop buddies for totally screwing the entire investigation

How? The state didn't prove she killed him? They didn't even prove she accidentally hit him with the car
If anyone should be sued for emotional distress on the niece and nephew, it should be the O’Keeffe other ones who brought them to court to testify for nothing
I wasn't wondering what the O'Keefes' opinion on Read was. If it wasn't already clear enough from their body language in court, Paul O'Keefe did an interview with local news, a week or two after the verdict, stating that they "know she's guilty". You keep saying that they deserve answers. But they think they already have all of the answers.
In my uneducated legal opinion, Karen Read should’ve been found not guilty purely on the grounds that the prosecution, investigating officers, and several witnesses had serious conflicts of interest issues alongside the pathetic excuse of an investigation. If we as a country can put someone in prison based on this ridiculous case, then why investigate at all? Just throw some dice and consult the tarot cards and you’ll have a better case than these clowns had.

I don't even think this is about money. They know the criminal trial is bleeding her dry. I think it's just another way to punish her and continue to push the narrative that she's wrong, and everyone else is a victim of her actions.
I know they are hurting but I wish they would point their anger at law enforcement that dropped the ball on the investigation
