Doing my part to help PBS battle the youtube algorithm 💪
Demons can survive on Mars. At least until Doom guy turns up.
I don't really have regular TV anymore, I'm glad I can still see some of the best content PBS has to offer here on YouTube.
If we ever do find life that's unrelated to what's here on Earth, it'll mean we get to add a new top level taxonomic rank: Origin.
If you want some extra fun space time content and deep dive into the mysteries of black holes, check out Matt's interview of long time space time writer and black hole expert Richard Dyer: https://youtu.be/XFEvFhIWtwQ (unfortunately we have to keep the videos unlisted for algo-related reasons)

Just a tad off-topic, but kudos to whoever designed the animated 'hope' and warning signs. They're easily pretty enough for any video game or film, but they're also clear enough to be used for actual signage, physical or otherwise. Good job.
The more I know about the difficulty of maintaining any kind of life on Mars, the more I understand the danger of the human destruction of the ecosystem that maintains human life on Earth.
This legitimately is the most friendly comment section on YouTube. Thank you Spacetime for all that you do to educate and normalize intellectual discourse.
Seeing how hard for any form life to even exist... ... means how much harder to keep life on earth, alive
