The YouTube algorithm MASSIVELY prioritises how many people watch a video to the very end. I also noticed that you first started reporting concerns with the algorithm shortly after you stopped ending on a Q&A segment to instead replace it with a sponsor segment. There's a possible causal relationship here.
I like how the algorithm shows me this channel right away
Youtube this is the content we need over ai and shorts.
Nice to finally catch a PBS spacetime within hours of it posting, instead of days
PBS Spacetime is one of the best educational channels I have ever found on this platform. It is truly a shame that the algorithm doesn't prioritize this level of quality.
Keep up the good work Dr. Matt & PBS Space Time team. Your impact is greater than you know.
Yes YT, PBS Spacetime is always an excellent and informative recommendation. YT should make this a flagship channel as it represents the very best the platform has to offer.
6:09 I am in awe of scientific progress. When I was a boy, quasars were mysterious objects at the same edge of the universe, and black holes were mostly hypothetical. Today quasars are understood so well that we use them to study even deeper mysteries.
One of the many things I really like about this channel is that it's somewhat of a measure of my progress in comprehension, both in science and in English. I discovered PBS Spacetime about 10 years ago, and each video was a struggle, but I knew it was worth it, so I kept watching.
Keep on pushing this channel into the algorithm YouTube! This is what we want.
