Don’t listen to the negative comments about this movie. I love Stallone & the Rocky movies but Rocky wasn’t really needed in this one. His story ended nicely on a good note last. Rocky beat cancer and got his closure by reuniting with his son/grandson.
If there isn't a movie about Amara Creed boxing in 10 years we riot. 😂
Can I put my vote in for The Harder They Fall. It's the first movie I saw Jonathon Majors in with Idris Elba, Regina King, Delroy Lindo. If Y'all haven't watch this, I guarantee you will love it. About the black cowboy era
The chemistry between micheal and mila davis kent(amara creed) & the whole cast is soooo beautiful because shes deaf in real life and they had to sign to her,its makes you emotional cause they have a tight bond
Bro Michael cried in all three Creed movies!! 🍿 😢
Being that the character Dame is from Crenshaw I loved that he used and came out to Nipsey Hussle's "Grinding All My Life" as his ring song since Nipsey was from Crenshaw and grew up on Slauson. RIP Nip
Sylvester mentioned that he read the script and didn’t see a place for Rocky.. he could’ve went to the funeral but I understand why this story of Adonis’ past focused on him. It’s really the first movie that actually tied to his upbringing instead of focusing on his father’s legacy.. also, I always questioned where were the other kids so I enjoyed seeing Adonis mention them during the argument with his mother.
*I have been WAITING for ya'll to finish the series!!!*
If you didn't know, Michael B. Jordan is producing a Creed Spinoff series called "Delphi", which will release on Amazon Prime. I believe they did a short preview of what the show will look like, and as far as what critics know, the show will focus on a younger generation of boxers. So yeah, the Creed/Rocky franchise is about to get a WHOLE lot bigger.
I lobe how this movie wasnt about who was right or wrong regarding their past because their was a correct answer to that instead it was about how that moment effected them and them working through it in their own way. Dame wasnt upset about going to jail for him, he understood a lot more played into that then just that moment. He was hurt that it felt like he was abandoned. Donny felt guilty once again not for the incident but the fact he also felt like he just abandoned him even though other things like him being a scared kid and his mother hiding the fact dame reached out also.played a role. It a great story about how sooner or later tou gotnto work through shit no matter how old
