Sure, call it an overpay all you want. They’re trying to win RIGHT NOW. Cornerback is one of the hardest positions to solidify in the NFL. Colts just gave themselves the best group in the league

I remember going into this season everybody hating on the Irsay sisters... LOOK AT THE COLTS NOW 🔥🔥🔥
There are going to be a lot of people critical of the trade, especially the cost (two 1st rounders) but I am not going to be that guy. I have been beating up Ballard for years for not taking big swings. They needed secondary help. They are beat up back there but they are going to get healthy in the next couple of weeks. Sauce is an all pro. This is the type of gamble many of us have been calling for for this team. If you combine Sauce, Ward, Jones, Bynum, Cross, and Blackmon you have a playoff caliber secondary that will help the pass rush get there. I generally believe pass rush helps secondary. But in this case, with that secondary, the pass rush will benefit. Go eat defense.
