As the Trump administration continues to obstruct local investigations into the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minnesota this month, we speak to Ellison and Georgetown University law professor Stephen Vladeck to discuss state and federal jurisdiction over investigations and potential prosecutions. Ellison also responds to the announcement that “border czar” Tom Homan is headed to Minnesota to replace U.S. Border Patrol “commander-at-large” Gregory Bovino as the public face of Trump’s immigration enforcement surge. If this is how border patrol treats American citizens imagine the atrocities on the border. No phone videos no protesters no witnesses!

It's not a cover up we ALL saw it no matter what the government decides to do. The social contract has been broken.

Good work and good luck with your lawsuit. Federal government does not have any right to impose their fascist agenda on any state that opposes it.

How, by any stretch of the imagination, has this administration made anything “great”, they are terrorizing, maiming, and killing. It has to be the biggest waste of taxpayer money.

How disgusting is it that a state would have to be forced to file in court to force the DOJ to not tamper with nor destroy evidence in a shooting resulting in the death of one of its citizens. This federal government is the government that Jefferson warned us about. "Taxation without representation" is replaced by "Government without morality".
