I can even recall the first time I saw the VHS in our local video store and being terrified of that clown with the creepy hands. Of course curiosity eventually got the best of me and I ended up watching it. And boy do I regret it. With the IT universe about to expand with a new HBO show this October I wanted to return to Derry to breakdown the original adaptation. Long Before 2017’s landmark It: Chapter One and the …oof… Chapter Two, This stephen King story was terrorising everyone. Broadcast in two parts, it attracted 30 million viewers despite reviews being very mixed. However, I think It’s a pretty entertaining adaptation but its suffers from having a lot of content cut.
