The Current State of Apple Intelligence
Reviewing the Real-World Performance of Apple Intelligence Beta
Discover why, after a year of waiting, Apple Intelligence still struggles with basic personal context, image generation, and on-device tasks, according to user testing. This review walks through specific failure points in the announced features.
Short Summary
- Apple Intelligence fails basic identity checks, not recognizing family members or personal contexts reliably.
- Image generation features produce unreliable and inaccurate results, frequently requiring external AI assistance or yielding bizarre outputs.
- Core contextual commands, like accessing local photos or apps, often default to web searches or ChatGPT, bypassing promised local processing.
This evaluation tests the announced visual, personal, and generative features of Apple Intelligence against real-world user commands presented in the original announcement materials.

Apple Intelligence mirrors Apple’s intelligence
Apple tried to sell us Apple Intelligence but it turns out it was 100% Apple and 0% Intelligence.
This entire thing felt like a comedy skit....I can't believe it's in this state
Apple: Siri is now powered by Google, Microsoft, Claude, OpenAI, and everyone else
7:05 "Ok, I won't." At least it got great humor :D
"Do you use Apple Intelligence? Why?" Lol.
You: Siri call the police, I have an intruder! Siri: The Police were an English rock band formed in London in 1977.
Having a headstart with Siri and having this for 13 years is just embarrassing.
I use apple intelligence every day because every day i forget what kind of cat i have.
Big thanks to Boot.Dev for sponsoring this video. Maybe Apple needs to learn some coding from them 😂 Click this link https://boot.dev/?promo=SAMTIME and use my code SAMTIME to get 25% off your first payment for boot.dev
