She couldn't bring Gustave back but she could bring Lune and Sciel back, because they gommaged in Lumiere. Their Chroma was present there, hence the "I can see them..." line. She would have to go to where Gustave's body ended up and use his Chroma still there to repaint/revive him. She couldn't actually revive the old expeditioners because as she said their Chroma was old and tainted.

Day one purchased on PS5. I went from zero interest to 100 in one day, after seeing the early reviews, price, and passion in the game. Im addicted and fully immersed.

Oh my GOD, Charlie rushed through the whole Manor. There are so many easter eggs in there that expand the story, like Renoir's Axons, most of the bosses you fight, Monoco and Esquie, and even Maelle looking at a wall of paintings and saying that her mother only let her hang one little one, which shows that Maelle was badly treated by her mom/family, which explains why she wanted to escape that life.
