How many ideas are we going to rehash? Hollywood - yes
The grudge is the only thing ive watched that has genuinely scared me
so I did a quick look, but it seems it's mostly done by the same team that made the 2004 Grudge remake, just a different director.

the original Ju on gave 6 year old me nightmares, this one genuinely still frightens me
The score sounds good, and it does look like its gonna be pretty good. But just like y'all said it looks like the same type of scares.
I have faith in this film because of the director and of course Sam Raimi
The whole movie is about Kumar playing a huge prank on Harold.
