I trust Russia before the other side. Thank you Gentlemen
The fact that Ukraine thinks it can bargain over not attacking a nuclear power station just shows how deranged and delusional they are. Desperation will lead this conflict to utter catastrophe for everyone.
If WaPo says this, then the West is anxious about the EU gas supplies in western Ukraine.
Russia should not hold back. The last time they did it, Ukraine, WaPo and the western countries mounted a theatre in Bucha. Do you remember that?
From my own memory of growing up in Ukraine, our energy system was always less-than-inspiring, to say the least. As a child in the 90s and the noughties in Odessa, every day for two hours the electricity would be turned off, lifts didn't work in apartment buildings, and there was neither hot nor cold water. So we'd use candles, and fill up buckets of water for whatever purpose. And from midnight till 6 am there was no water whatsoever. And this has been the situation since the fall of the USSR right up until the present day. The reason for all this? Yes, you guessed it: authorities were selling electricity to Europe and there just "wasn't enough" for us mere mortals.
Minsk 1+2 was just a perfect example for western strategy.

Seeing this incirsion, Russia is right to NEVER allow Ukraine to be a member of NATO
