Funny how nobody asks how we are going to pay for this. There's all the money in the world for prisons, not a nickel for homeless veterans or healthcare.

Emily - from Florida here. I know someone with a valid visa, approved green card that was detained in Florida for 20+days (he got moved to many different places, until landing in California when he was released). So consider that as part of this wave of detainees, MANY are legal immigrants who are being arrested with no cause, and treated like animals. Ping me if you want to know more.

The “farmer responsibility” program might be more dangerous and inhumane in the long run. A group of people who can’t become citizens and are bound to work the land for one person sounds pretty feudal to me.

As a Floridian I'm more upset that they built this in eight days but they have been working on an extensions to I95 for like ten years... I think our priorities are completely backwards lets use that money and efficiency to help our storm victims and homeless vets. it is very clear that we are able to help but there simply is not the will. maybe we need to elect people who care more about our actual people here.
