They're like.. the personification of night and day, sitting next to each other.
"Its just a joke" is a massive identifier of a bully. That guy will absolutely retaliate if he somehow manages to find out who reported him.

Friendly Neighborhood HR Manager here - Not only will you not be told by HR who reported things, if you go around to your co-workers and demand it from them, that itself can be seen as Retaliation which all companies have a prohibition against in their handbook and will mean you face more action if not termination.
My parents do the thing where they won't touch anything I cook, no matter how long it takes and it kills me. A couple weekends ago I made braised pork belly from scratch - pork belly is just bacon, which they eat by the pound. They wouldn't touch it because 'that's a weird name'. They're both going to a nursing home.
"It's how my brain works, it's not my fault" whose gonna tell her that her brain is part of her, meaning it's on her.
