Andrei, you have a talent for explaining complicated things in simple fashion. I have not missed a video of yours for more than a year. Good job and thank you for all the content you are creating.
That was a deep conversation, thank you for all the effort you put in. 🙏
First time watcher and I am very impressed with your ability to succinctly discuss very complex issues in layman's terms.
Very insightful, I had no idea Japan owned US bonds more than China. Also, when you say "I won't get more into it", it be really interesting if you had a video substack where you *did* get into it.
Wow, this is one of the best summaries of what is happening in Japan, well informed!
Japanese here who owns property. I had mine fixed at three years and now variable. Most banks don't even consider "selling" full term fixed and Japanese are so used to variable rates that the entire real estate economy is depended on low rates. The government doesn't have guts raising rates beyond a certain point. It will be a nothing burger.
It's brutal here. There has definitely been price increases here with seeing the value of the yen nosediving
Man I wash I can tell a complex story as clear and logic as you. Kudos!
Good for them a negative interest rate is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of. They must’ve been smoking when they came up with that.
Was thinking "picture it, Sicily, 1937..." ahh Estelle, so miss golden girls
