We're constantly being told to deny our eyes.

I suffer this complex. I predicted the fall of western education systems back when I was a teacher in 2010. I published a book about it that nobody wanted to read in 2014. Almost everything I predicted in that book has come true. Only about 40 people have read it, as far as I know. I was ridiculed by colleagues, laughed at as a loudmouth as I saw the signs of decline right in plain sight. I left education and changed my life for the better, but I sometimes regret walking away, as maybe now people would see that they should have listened to me instead of turning a blind eye and protecting their turf.

What no one seems to address is the fact that maybe birth rates wouldn’t be on the decline if life wasn’t so shit for so many. An endless treadmill of consumer enslavement at the mercy of merciless, morally bankrupt, predatory corporations and individuals. Concepts like society, community and the common good abandoned for psychopathic levels of self interest and greed.
