Let’s point out in the cake story, some cakes have wooden rods for stability it could REALLY hurt someone!!
There was a daughter who got her eye skewered by a wooden rod in her birthday cake. Her mom shoved her face into the cake and basically shoved her eye into the rod. Her daughter had asked for years for her to stop doing this because she shoved her face into cake every year on her birthday ruining it. Well this year it blinded her!
i just wanna say also about the cake story: she said they were taking pictures with the cake “PRETENDING” to blow out the candles because of germs, she didn’t even want to blow out candles let alone have her whole face in the cake
Oh Lauren I felt your anxiety during the cake story when you were trying to justify your opinion!! There are DEFINITELY couples out there who would find a cake smash to the face hilarious. (Minus anything that could cause harm like cake rods or for example this woman who went out of her way to get glammed up and feel pretty) I can picture a couple who loves to prank each other and play jokes doing something like this! And it'd turn into a sort of "haha I'm so going to get you back for this" in light humor ❤️
It's sweet how Lauren is always so nervous and anxious before an episode, but the reason she's our favorite is because she always has the best takes and energy.
Murdering a co-worker over business card envy is a reference to the film, American Psycho. Patrick Bateman, the main character murders his co-worker who has a “better” business card lol
So I’m a Spotify listener, but had to come to YouTube to comment about the cake story. I was a bride that was all for the cake being smashed in my face. It was discussed beforehand, and done playfully, and equally. It was after any main photos, so it really didn’t matter. It was also nice to have the extra little time together alone to go clean up. For reference, paid $175 on my hair, $85 on my makeup and $1,600 on my dress. Married 10.2.21, and still going strong. 😊
Every episode I think “I wish Lauren wasn’t so guarded” it’s clear she has good opinions but doesn’t want to rub anyone the wrong way. But finally today she let loose! I love this side of her. I hope she continues to speak her truth without fear of judgement
Morgan purposefully choosing to misunderstand Lauren with the cake story pmo 😭
I feel like Lauren wasn’t in the space to film this and felt she wasn’t being heard or listened to on top of it .
