Description

Nick Reiner is accused of stabbing his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, to death multiple times inside their Brentwood mansion, a scene prosecutors describe as intimate and brutal. Authorities say the crime may have spanned more than one location: hours after the killings, Nick allegedly checked into a Santa Monica hotel where staff later found the room covered in blood, suggesting possible movement or cleanup after the attack. The couple’s bodies were not discovered until the following afternoon, when a massage therapist couldn’t gain entry to the home, adding to prosecutors’ theory that this was not a spontaneous act but a deliberate and calculated crime. The accused was "competent" enough to flee the scene & check into a motel 8 miles from the scene.

I wish everyone would stop blaming addiction. 90% of addicts would never even think about doing something so heinous. This is mental illness and addiction was just a symptom. A lot of parents end up enabling their childs behavior because they don't want to admit what's actually happening. Im not blaming his parents but he needed more serious help much earlier in his life. Either way, he took 2 lives and shouldn't be free, ever again.

He was born "faulty" sorry, it happens to the best of parents. It's just not socially acceptable to say. What a very sad and unfortunate situation.

Killing somebody because you’re under the influence of drugs, does not erase your culpability.
