Description

The problem isn’t that Black voters don’t care — it’s that Democratic leaders keep ignoring them. In a powerful segment, Roland Martin and his panel expose the hollow strategy, missed opportunities, and elite arrogance keeping Democrats from winning the South. This isn’t apathy — it’s abandonment. 🔥 “We are literally writing our own obituary.” 🔥 Democrats talk strategy from D.C., but never show up in Lowndes County 🔥 Black rural voters are forgotten, disrespected, and expected to save the party anyway 🔥 “You don’t control the algorithm.” — Roland on the myth of digital-only organizing 🔥 Obama didn’t win North Carolina by accident — Black voters *made that happen* #BlackVotersMatter #DemocraticFailure #RolandMartinUnfiltered #BlackStarNetwork

Democrats need to focus more on the Black working class _where many of them live:_ states like Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, & Texas. Those are not impossible states to get! Look at Georgia that was thought to be a "safe" red state but turned blue in 2020! Stop sending hundreds of millions to Ohio. Spend money in southern states where the most black people live! 🙄

"Social Media" is a useful tool for communicating with the masses! However, it is no substitute for your ground game and good community outreach"!

If you live in South Carolina, we can vote out Lindsey Graham if we show up and vote. These midterms don't have Trump on the ballot. That means only 660, 000 Republicans will show up to vote. Harrison had 1.1 million votes in 2020. If you voted for him in 2020, come out and vote in the Democratic primary and the general election on November 3, 2026. Pediatrician Dr Annie Andrews has the lead so far in funding, however Catherine Fleming Bruce is also running in the primaries.

So on point with this! Social media is powerful, but it does not replace in person contact. It does not replace the power of person to person in terms of mobilizing.
