Scrubs actually does an episode addressing the Janitor’s role in this movie. J.D. sees the scene and questions the Janitor about it. The Janitor spends the whole episode dodging the issue.
The 'I don't care!' by Tommy Lee in the sewer pipe was improvised. There was supposed to be a longer dialogue but the sewer was so awful Tommy just said what turned out to be his iconic line in the movie.
Ford and jones were both amazing. The perfect cat and mouse duo. One of my absolute favorite films, 90s or otherwise.
6:45 - Remember kids, when cops drag you to the station, it's suddenly Shut-the-Fuck-Up-Friday and YOU stop talking - preferably, you stop talking when they knock on your door in the first place. Your lawyer handles the talking because they know what to say. Nothing that you can say will help you in any way.
This is my favorite non-franchise Harrison Ford role. I was 10 when this came out and I loved watching it with my Dad then, now I am a Dad and can confirm it's definitely a dad movie.
Julianne Moore got higher billing because she had a whole romantic subplot that was cut because the filmmakers rightly decided that it was inappropriate for a man searching for his wife's killer to hook up with another woman.
This was based on a true story in Cleveland, Ohio. He was eventually found innocence when his Attorney F Lee Bailey. They turned it into a TV series.
Dialogue + Casting + Locations + Pacing + Stakes = one of the best, most re-watchable films. Great reaction 😎
The interaction between them in the sewer with Jones saying "I DON'T CARE" still gives me chills. One my absolute favorite action films! It's just brilliant
