should have also mentioned "the history of the world, I guess". One of the best pieces of edutainment
Oregon Trail II taught me time management, resources management, and that bullets can ricochet off of clouds for some reason.
No one said Vsauce :(
Good Eats is one of the best edutainment shows ever made.
NileRed is my fav. He "Teaches" chemistry, and he's pretty chill.
48:46 My favorite edutainment cartoon of my childhood, Magic School Bus! I'm surprised they didn't talk much about it earlier in the episode
Unless I just missed it, I'm stunned that nobody brought up Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego? That franchise taught you geography, history, outer space and had countless video games and TV shows to choose from, with one of the catchiest theme songs of all time.
Tasting history with Max Miller - super entertaining and you learn both cooking and history all in one
One of my greatest school memories is from the time we watched Schoolhouse Rock. Rick Rolling had skyrocketed into popularity the year prior and our teacher had used YouTube to play the video. About halfway through or so the video just cuts to Rick Astley and the class explodes in laughter. The teacher had no idea what was happening and was like it’s a great song. I’ve since tried to find that video but it’s long gone lol.
How on Earth did they not bring up Jeopardy?! Also, Drunk History is amazing.
