Watching on from outside the US, have to say it really does look like a national stupidity problem.

I’m old (74) but I don’t want any candidates older than 70.
I think many of us really, really care about the war. This is huge.
We are creating a whole new generation of radical Islamists who hate America. Then, we will act surprised when they hate us. It is so stupid.
He's spending a billion dollars of our money a day, to manipulate the markets, and distract away from the files.
To Tim's point about Jared Kushner sitting in on security briefings while being a completely free agent and doing negotiations with the Saudis; He did the same with Ukraine and Russia. Kushner has been sitting in negotiations with Steve Witkoff during negotiations with Ukraine and Russia. Why is this guy even present at these meetings? He's not a US official.
It's not that we don't care about the war. It's that we are in a continual state of outrage, and that is hard to maintain!
