2025 Nissan Frontier PRO4X. No regrets. Useful tech I need and none I don't.

The Honda Ridgeline is awesome, EXCEPT for the timing belt to be changed every 100k miles

I would avoid the 2016-2017 V6 Tacomas due to possible piston oil control ring issues thats been covered by TCCN channel and other well regarded channels.

Always agree with your assessments, you know your vehicles. Have a 2023 Ridgeline, but at 40k miles, not a single problem! Wife loves to drive it. Owned a 2003 Tacoma and a 2007 Tundra. One point, be sure to purchase a top tier gas, since the Ridgeline has direct injection, or use Techroline additives. Other than that, be careful with Turbos, for they don''t last beyond 150k without regular oil changes by 5k miles!

I’m good with my 2022 Tacoma, TRD Off Road, 4x4, double cab, short bed, automatic, with the 3.5L, V6, 6 speed transmission with the Premium Package. Bought her used in October 2025 with about 19,900 miles on the odometer.

I had a 1987 Bronco for 38 years, was starting to really rust and fail obviously, so in 2022 bought a "22 Tacoma but kept the Bronco. It turned out to be too small for me, started developing hip pain from having to twist to get in it, the bed was small and the rear view mirror caused a blind spot so I traded that in for a 2025 Frontier November 2024. This was a really solid truck that did not have any of the issues that the Tacoma did, so I sold the old Bronco to a young guy that is patching him up and keeping him going so he got a good second home. But 3 months later I realized that I got so used to and preferred the bigger "boxy" feel and style of the Bronco so I bought a 2025 2 door base Bronco and sold the Frontier back to Nissan November 2025. Removed the rear setas and put down a rubber mat so he's a work truck like his "father" was lol, just not as much room but I'm making it work. So far so good, I've had two recalls but they didn't need anything done. When I traded in the Tacoma I didn't think twice about it, when I traded in the Frontier I thought "I hope this isn't going to be a mistake", but I wanted the Bronco feel again. But if I wanted a pickup truck that Frontier would've been it, 2025 SV King cab...
