The music and sound effects is really what made OG runescape stand out

Guthix is the best god cause he's green. When i was a kid I was so happy to get that guthix trimmed rune set when they first dropped clue scrolls. Varrock west bank was all people trading that shit. I have legitimately over 10k hours at the GE between idling at work, playing on mobile and just hanging with friends. Instead of the quad in college we chilled at the GE. wayyyyyyyyy before rs 3 or osrs. The OG days. I'm 35. I dont regret a second of it either. My life is fine, my mental health is serviceable and I'm doing ok financially. we could all be doing better of course, but for all intent and purposes those good memories cost me nothing. Time well spent imo. I 'll never play the main game again but I'll check this new thing out maybe.
