The DCAU was such a lesson in animated storytelling perfection.
As soon as this man said “the key to solving all of it…cartoons” I leaped out of my chair and screamed yes. Finally someone understands
I'll never understand why DC didn't just release the animated stuff in theaters I'd love to watch it that way
I’m from the future DC is in the right hands
Never underastimate the power of animation
Shows like Batman, Superman, Static Shock, Ben 10 Alien Force, Teen Titans, Young Justice and Generator Rex were some of the best shows of all time. The fact they weren't just silly cartoons, but instead had deep, mature and gripping story arcs, made them so enthralling.
I love that Mat brought up the witcher mess even briefly. Glad to know that they understand the writers were in the wrong for changing the material so much
Literally when Matt mentioned cartoons and showed the iconic heroes that I GREW UP WITH, I celebrated as if we won a war. FINALLY, someone understands and is willing to make their voice heard! These cartoons (Justice League, Justice League Unlimited; movies like Justice League: War and Justice League: Dark; these movies PROPELLED me into becoming a DC fan. I grew up with that version of DC, and it would literally mean everything to relive those days
The DCAU is really underrated in mass media it’s heartbreaking I hope it gets the recognition it deserves
Respect to Matt for going forwards in time to give even better feedback on the new DCU
