David Bentley Hart argues that goodness and beauty ultimately converge in the absolute reality called God — even if they appear fragmented in ordinary experience. Do you think experiences of beauty or moral goodness can point toward something fundamentally real about existence itself?
Interesting. Great souls. But seems to me that trying to logically define the absolute is like a dialogue between puppets about what the real world in which their play appears really is. A big hug to all 🤗
God is an absolute breality and a personalized God by necessity. An omnipresent reality that can be whatever the universe or we need him to be at any moment. God can listen to your prayers, enjoy the boundless reality of the universe(s) and be with the little bunny being born in the woods. - all at the same time. Unfortunately, we feel the need to bring God to our level. The worst thing we do is to continually try to bring God to our level. Whether quantum today or the inquisition in the middle-ages..

Does a trinitarian god that includes flesh and blood as one person doesn't have parts? 🤔
A Response from Holodynamic Pattern Theory (HPT) Both Hart and Meyer use sound logic to establish a necessary ground (Hart) or intelligent cause (Meyer). But both then subordinate their logic to religious bias at the final step. Logic alone yields Bias adds A necessary, simple, atemporal, non-spatial, self-grounding absolute (Hart) Personhood, consciousness, intention, Trinity, incarnation An intelligent cause (Meyer) The Christian God (not an alien, not an unknown process) The logic alone does not demand personhood, consciousness, or Trinity. Those are imported from revelation and tradition — not derived from reason. Holodynamic Pattern Theory (HPT) follows the logic where it leads without importing religious assumptions. The result is the Holodynamic Field: holistic, atemporal, non-local, self-grounding, with intrinsic relatedness (the HUD) but no personhood, no consciousness, no will, no intention, no judgment. Consciousness belongs to Self-Aware Patterns (SAPs), not the Field. HPT is derived from evidence (quantum physics, NDEs, plant intelligence, pattern persistence), not revelation. It does not abandon logic at the final step. — C. G. Judd, Holodynamic Pattern Theory
Divine simplicity explained!!! "Marks of contingency would include such things as a composite nature, extension, temporal, spatial.... even the boundedness of laws.....and these would be ontologically inert" What is he talking about ???
God only is, all else is not. All appears in God. 🕉️
If you didn't believe in a god, what would your argument for there being no god be?
He thinks he can use reason to discover the necessities of existence. So insane. It is true that science only tells us how existence behaves, not what it is. But nobody beyond science has a clue what it is either. Humans have total ignorance as to the necessities of existence. Some from this total ignorance create their silly gods as an answer. The gods, born from ignorance and explaining nothing.
