I love how the new crow guy looks like Jared Leto's Joker while the original crow looks like Heath Ledgers's Joker

Most bad movies pre-mid 2000s were the "fun bad". These days most bad movies are just truly bad.

The original is one of the most creative, well shot, fun, gothic, dark, badass films of that decade, and the soundtrack is incredible.

Hearing Charlie say the movie needed more goth influence warmed my soul as a goth

The 1994 version is a classic. RIP Brandon Lee. Great movie.

The funniest part of them trying to redesign Eric/The Crow to be more “modern” is that Brandon Lee’s swag in the original has aged perfectly with 90s-early 2000s mallgoth fashion making a comeback. Meanwhile the design they gave Bill Skarsgaard’s version of Eric looks stuck in 2017. The old design would’ve honestly fit much better with modern times and would’ve looked much less dated IMO.
