I turn 71 yrs next month and have been using Collagen regularly for two years. I have a regular weight lifting routine (5 days a week) and include some heaving reps. My joints are holding up well but I spend some minutes doing shoulder and back stretches. I eat well and take many other supplements including Creatine, Grass fed Whey Protein, berberine, fish oil, magnesium glycinate, Nattokinase, D3, K2 to name a few. 162lbs, 8% body fat, walked with 100 lb dumbells today. Keep moving and embrace phisical effort everyone! God Bless!
I have taken approx 15g of collagen for last 5 years. I genuinely think it has helped both my skin and joints. I also take a hyaluronic acid supplement, exercise regularly and use a red light panel - so it's always hard to pinpoint what is most helpful.
FANTASTIC REPORT RICHARD !! WELL DONE AND THANK Y SO MUCH !! ❤
Thanks for this report, Richard! I haven't watched your podcasts for a few months, but I am seeing something great in you!! You are much more handsome and so much younger!!!!!!!! I have taken collagen for at least 20 years. I'm 84 and never have joint pain and most people think I'm about 65 years old!! Hooray for collagen!
Excellent quality video. Thanks for preparing.
This podcast was very timely. In the last week or so, several high-profile influencers have been saying things like “the jury is out on collagen” and “there’s no reason collagen peptides from supplements would reassemble where needed.” You addressed these skeptical takes directly and clearly, and I appreciate the way you walked through the evidence. It’s kept me on board with collagen supplementation.
I've been taking collagen for about 7 years now. It's hard to say what effect it has, because I can't really go back in time and re-age 7 years without it. I'm taking it for the long haul.
The was a really good episode. Consider doing more like this. I love the interviews but there's not a lot of actionable material in those.
