- Exogenous ketones provide immediate cognitive and performance benefits, actively buffering against metabolic stress.
- Modern food engineering intentionally combines ingredients to override satiety signals and encourage overconsumption.

Ive taught this for ten years to women over 40. It doesn’t have to be extreme or complicated, simply cut out processed food and sugar, watch the fructose and get rid of the starchy white carbs. If you Add 16:8 fasting you will drop lbs fast and feel incredible in no time. Women over 40 should take note of this, there is so much confusing information out there for peri and menopausal women. Keep it simple.
I am 62. I went low carb 20 years ago, lost 120 pounds, and have never looked back. Dietitians and nutritionists have said for years that this "diet" is unsustainable. I am living proof that it is, and I am sure there are millions of others out there who are just like me. My biggest challenge? having to interact with physicians who not only clearly think that I am lying, but who continue to refer me to nutritionists in order to teach me how to eat more healthfully despite evidence that I am in good health.

I lost 50 pounds on the carnivore diet, despite being fully wheelchair-dependent with cerebral palsy and living a mostly sedentary lifestyle. It proves that diet—not exercise—is the primary driver of weight loss. My only physical activity is occasional physical therapy.
I wish we'd stop calling it a diet. It's a complete Lifestyle change.
Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes February 2024. They prescribed metformin and wanted to add another statin. I was already on 4 medications. I said no more medicine. I completely changed my diet to only real natural food and within the year I lost 60lbs and reduced my A1C to almost normal. Also cut 3 medications. I found out I was still eating too much fruit. I cut all fruit except blueberries and strawberries and went mostly carnivore and was able to finally get a normal A1C and have now lost a total of 80lbs and off all medicine. I did this because of the diabetes and I was taking care of my mom with Alzheimer’s. My grandmother also died of Alzheimer’s. My mom passed exactly one year from the day I changed my diet. I am doing all I can to keep diabetes free and save my brain. I walk 4 plus miles a day. I feel better than I ever have in my entire life.
I have a friend who has been on a ketogenic diet for 13 years, and is keeping prostate cancer at bay. His doctors keep telling him this isn’t healthy. I guess they think dying of prostate cancer is a better way to go. I started eating Keto diet three weeks ago. Lost 12 pounds, I feel alert, energetic, my eyesight is more clear, I have no cravings, and I’m not hungry often like I was before. Amazing
It helps my seizures a lot from 15 a day to 2 or 3 a month 👍
Keto 3 years now... a way of life i will stay on ... lost 27kilos, reversed prediabetes, reduced insulin levels, cancelled knee replacement pain 90% gone. Take no pharmaceuticals, feel and look better at 77yrs than I did at 60 yrs old..
I am 43 years old. I struggled with asthma, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and ADHD for years. I have been on a ketogenic diet for 3 years. For 3 years, I have been living in paradise. There are no asthma attacks, psoriasis is 90% cured, and my joint pain disappeared in just the 3rd month. As the year approached, I was sure my focus had completely changed, and I was able to organize my life. Of course, not all symptoms have completely disappeared, but looking back 3 years ago, I created a completely different person from myself, just with food. It still seems incredible.
