We should start using the response “show me the policy in writing” when we are told “I’m just enforcing a policy”.

The kid in the “don’t tread on me” new story is dressed to impress! Like, better dressed than most the faculty, I’d wager. Dressed not for the position he has but dressed for the position he wants.

I wonder if that school would have had the same response to a kid who had a Che Guevara patch on their backpack.

I live in San Diego, a naval city. The velcro badge on the front of the Navy's cami uniform is the Gadsden Flag, says, "Don't Tread on Me." So there you go. They can use this in court.
