Batman v Superman Pitch Meeting: Revisited!

I like the idea that there is only one screenwriter and one producer making almost every major movie in Hollywood.

I love how simply recounting the plot of the movie is the most damning criticism you could give the film XD no joke could be funnier than that screenplay

The “Lex Luthor plan explanation” was pure genius

This definitely reflects how far Ryan has come. This isn't a bad Pitch Meeting, but he's definitely gotten better.

My favorite part of Civil War was when Iron Man e-mailed Captain America to tell him they were no longer friends.

I still love the line "Marvel wishes they'd thought of an e-mail scene"

The idea for Graphic Designer Guy to have giant eyes is hilarious, and that example of him at 10:10 is too good haha

Since we do these revisits, I noticed one of the biggest differences (for me) is, how much more expression writer guy and studio executive have. They often use catchphrases still in place today but Ryan (and the other actor) mastered their delivery and expression. The lines are not as impactful in those earlier pitch meetings. One can clearly see how Ryan (and the other actor) improved over the years. Edit: and Im so happy he got rid of the shaky camera. On fullscreen it caused slight nausea.

"And he makes really high pitched Mickey Mouse noises" That line gets me every time. 🤣🤣🤣 Edit: that final joke with the cut off word was amazing.
